Sooji/ Semolina Cake Without Oven
Semolina is a coarse flour made from durum wheat, a hard type of wheat. This flour is darker and more golden in color than all-purpose flour.
Along with its culinary uses, semolina also benefits weight management, heart health, and digestive system. Semolina is high in protein and fiber.

Ingredients:
2 cup Semolina
1 + 1/2 cup milk
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 cup wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 cup powdered sugar/ jaggery
nuts for garnishing
Instructions:
1. Grind the semolina to a smooth powder in a grinder jar.
2. Mix together the semolina and 1 cup milk in a bowl. Set this batter aside for 30 mins.
3. Simultaneously, add 1 tsp lemon juice to 1/2 cup milk to make curd and keep this undisturbed.
4. Now sieve together the wheat flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl.
5. After 30 mins add the curd and wheat flour mixture to the semolina batter. To this also add oil and powdered sugar.
6. You can also add nuts and cardamom powder to the batter for flavor
7. Now pour the mixture in a greased pan and cook on low flame for 20 mins. Make sure the pan is covered.
8. After 20 mins insert a toothpick in the cake and if it comes out clean your cake is ready otherwise cook for a few more minutes.
9. Take the cake out of the pan by turning it upside down on a plate.
10. Garnish with some more nuts.
